Question

My 15Y and 18Y students are not marked as full-time students on the TT generated IL-1040. My 20Y college student is. No checkbox option to mark youngers as FT students.

The My Info section oddly doesn't ask if they are full-time students. It is maybe assumed that at 18 and younger they are full-time students, but then why doesn't the IL1040 show them that way? Is this affecting anything adversely?

    Being a full-time student does not affect a dependent until they reach age 19, then it matters. 

    Illinois uses the dependents listed on your federal EIC schedule.

    So no, it does not change/effect anything adversely.
