Question

My daughter is 17 and is a full-time college student and one high school class. Can I claim her as a qualified dependent since she is in HS too for the $2000 credit?

No.   You can claim your 17 year old as a dependent but you cannot get the $2000 child tax credit for a dependent who is older than 16.   Instead you get the $500 credit for other dependents.  Sometimes this comes as a shock for parents who think the CTC lasts longer.
