My Daughter is a 19 year old full time college student and should qualify for the child tax credit, but turbo is only giving me $500

Sorry--you lose the child tax credit when they turn 17.  For a child older than 16 you only get the $500 credit for other dependents.

This is a common misunderstanding of the rules.  Your over 16 child qualifies as your, so called, "Qualifying Child" (QC) dependent because she is a full time student, under 24.  But that does not apply to qualifying for the child tax credit.  She still must be under 17.  Being a QC does qualify for the Earned Income Credit.
