My daughter stays in her college town to work when she's not in school. Should I count the time she is not in school as months lived with me?

Last year, she was a full-time student for 4 months, a part-time student for 4 months and a non-student for 4 months. Education is considered a temporary absence, but what about the time she is in her college town but not in school?

If she was not a student the temporary absence would not apply to the four months.
