My employer gave me tuition reimbursement in 2023 that covered the school year 2022. Do I put that on my 2023 tax return?

My employer is backed up on issuing tuition reimbursement.  In 2023, my employer paid me tuition reimbursement for my school year 2022.  They also gave me a partial reimbursement for the 2023 school year .  When it asks how much my employer contributed for the 2023 year, do I only enter the amount that was only given towards my 2023 school year, or do I enter the amount that was paid towards my 2022 year as well, since in was paid in 2023?

A.  No.  That assumes that you did not claim a tuition credit, on your 2022 return, for the tuition that had not yet been reimbursed.
