Question

My loan lender did not send me a 1098-E Form but they did provide me with a tax loan ID Number but there is no where to input this information. how can i input this info?

You don't need a tax loan ID number (whatever that is). The information you need in order to claim the student loan interest deduction is the amount of interest that you paid in 2019. Not the total amount of your payments, but how much of what you paid was interest. If the lender did not send a 1098-E, they should still be able to tell you how much interest you paid on your student loan. The only information you enter in TurboTax is the name of the lender and the amount of interest that you paid.
