Question

My parents have claimed me as I am a student. I worked over the summer and during the fall semester (hence 2024). How do I file? Can I efile?

My initial filing (efile) was rejected, I assume it is because my parents claimed me. What change is needed on my taxes to be accepted?

Go back to the personal info section and select edit next to your name then check the box that says another taxpayer can claim you on their tax return.
