Question

My screen says this "Why do I need to upgrade?You have the Lifetime Learning credit."However I did not qualify for that credit. my refund for state and federal are $0

I don't want to pay $69 to upgrade when I had no income and I qualify for no tax credits.

If you don't qualify for the Lifetime Learning Credit,  or want to eliminate it, you'll have to delete the forms that are related to education credits.

 If you see form 8863 and form 1098-T, delete them. Click here for instructions
