Question

My student loan info populated from last year, but I made zero payments on it for 2021. It won't delete. Is there a way I can remove it?

It's a Sallie Mae loan, but I just confirmed with the company that nothing was paid all of 2021 so I need to remove that portion so I can proceed with my taxes. Thank you!

Please follow these steps to remove a student loan entry

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account.
  2. Click "Take Me To My Return"
  3. Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen.
  4. Click on the “Deduction and Credits” tab on the top.
  5. Scroll down to “Student Loan Interest Paid (Form 1098-E)” and click "Edit/Add"
