Question

My taxes were offset last year due to student loans. My student loans were in default last year but no longer are this year. Will I receive my refund this year?

If your student loans are no longer in default you should receive your tax refund this year.

even so, because of the CARES act, there is no garnishment through Sept 30.

My taxes were onset last year and I started paying to the student loan rehab program. They said after my first 5 payments my taxes would no longer be onset. But how do I find out so I can file and get my taxes or if they even are seeing that I've paid my first 5 payments
