Question

Program says it has my child's 1098-T. Why doesn't it enter the data?

Literally: "Great News! We've got xxx's college 1098-T" but none of the info filled in. I manually entered the data and keep getting "Fix errors" but errors aren't identified so I don't know what is wrong.

I'm not sure why your return was not populated properly. The best thing to do would be to delete the form 1098-T and re-enter it. You may be able to delete the form 1098-T by following these steps in TurboTax:

 

  1. Tax tools (on the left menu bar)
  2. Tools
  3. Delete a form

Find the form 1098-Tin the list and delete the form.
