So, I graduated in May 2019 and my mother claimed me for all four years when I was getting my Bachelor's. As of August 2019 and currently, I'm in schools for my Masters. So, I'm not sure if I should respond "yes" because I'm in graduate school or "no" because I did not complete 4  years of college credit "BEFORE" 2019, it was May 2019. Thank you!

You would answer "yes to having completed your first four years".

This question is there to ensure you only claim the American Opportunity Credit for 4 years as it only applies to the first four years of college while working towards a degree.

Since you are now in graduate school, you may be able to use the Lifetime Learning Credit or Tuition and Fees deduction.

Attached is additional information on both of those.
