Regarding deductions and credit for F-1 student

Hello, I am trying to file my tax for 2021 through turbotax.

I am a non-resident alien, but did some stock trading with a bit of net loss; I have finished entering all the trades that I have done in 2021, so I should be good with that part.

For a bit of more context information, I have started my school in August of 2021. Thus, I have nothing do deal with the "third stimulus payment."

So I have entered 0 for the amount.

However, the turbotax is keep saying that I am eligible for $1,400 of Recovery Rebate Credit which I am not eligible since I am a foreigner.

What should do to file this correctly?

Moreover, I have checked that I have no deductions, but when I go to the summary, it keep says I have standard deduction, which I believe I have not selected and not eligible for because of my nationality.

Finally, I have no income in the state where I attend my university.

Do I still have to file state taxes?

Thank you for taking your time to answer my questions.

If you are on F1 and have not completed five calendar years, then you must file a 1040NR tax return. TurboTax does not support 1040 NR.

You can use Sprint for filing a nonresident return.

You are not eligible for a third stimulus.

Only students from India are eligible for the standard deduction.

If you do not have any income from the state you do not have to file.
