For one unv. attended on turbo tax, the question was asked total tuition fee and I input the total, under the scholarship, I put the total # of scholarship for that school, this amount exceeded the amount of tuition and fee, now the difference did not show up on the 1040, where should it show up. Should there be a schedule or form to break it down to attach to the 1040 when submitting to IRS?  On the 1040 it has printed beside line 1 "sch and an amount" will IRS need to see this on another form or schedule?

On the 1040 it has printed beside line 1 "sch and an amount".

That is the correct way to report it.  Note that the "sch amount" has been added to your W-2 wages amount and is included in the total amount shown on line 1 of form 1040.  It does not get shown anywhere else on the forms or schedules.
