Scholarships amount doubled in TurboTax

I am using the 1098T form to enter my daughter's college expenses (that I pay). She received a small scholarship and this amount is in box 5. I enter it but then TurboTax doubles it. I deleted the college altogether and entered the information from the form again, same issue. I also get a message saying she needs to file a return and claim the scholarship as income, even though the amount is very small compared to the tuition that was due and paid, meaning the scholarship went entirely toward the tuition. Is this a bug?

This sounds like there is a value that is not being deleted when you go back and correct the entries in the program. Follow the steps in How do I view and delete forms in TurboTax Online?. When you get to the list of forms, look for a "Student Info Wk" and delete it. If this does not solve the issue, post here again and we can investigate further if necessary.
