Question

Should I enter that I went to a different college in 2020 if I did not receive a 1098-T from that college because grants and scholarships covered my tuition?

I transferred colleges in 2020. I took classes for Spring 2020 at previous college but they did not send me a 2020 1098-T form because my tuition for Spring 2020 was cover by the Pell grant and scholarships. Turbo tax is saying this form is required if I enter that I went to this college in 2020. Should I enter that I did Not go to another school if I don't have this form?

If you have enough tuition to get the AOTC, you don't need to worry about the prior college. The goal is to have some of your scholarship taxable, if needed, so you can claim maximum education credit. I recommend you look at another of my answers for help.
