Question

Should I keep the 1098-T info on my taxes even though my parent is claiming me?

I filled out my 1098-T info on my end even though my parent is claming me. Should I get rid of that information and only have my parent keep the 1098-T info on theirs

Yes, the 1098-T should be reported on your parents return if they are claiming you.   However, the student (you) must report any taxable scholarship income on their own return.

The 1098-T is only an informational document. The numbers on it are not required to be entered onto your tax return nor are your required to enter the form.  However, receipt of a 1098-T frequently means you or your parents are either eligible for a tuition credit or possibly you have taxable scholarship income.

If your parents claim the tuition credit, they  do need to report (enter it on their return) that you got one. Although it's unusual, sometimes both the parents and the student enter it. The parents to claim the credit and the student to report taxable scholarship.

In simple terms; if box 1 exceeds box 5 by more than $4000, only the parents report the 1098-T. For more specific advice, provide the numbers on the 1098-T plus how much other qualified expenses you have (books, fees, and a computer; but not room &board).
