To clarify, what date were you declared a J1 Visa holder?

    My visa was declared 16th of September,2021. Now i ain't living in USA.

    Yes, you are entitled to a refund but to file your taxes, you will need to file a 1040 NR return since you did not meet the  substantial presence test requirements for 2021. Please contact our affiliate sprintax.com for further information.
