I believe that there is an error in TurboTax Deluxe regarding student loan payments. Under "Principal or interest payments on qualified education loans" it says "Enter any principal or interest you paid on qualified education loans of the designated beneficiary (or a sibling) , not to exceed $10,000 per person.
I believe that it should say $10,000 lifetime per person. It is not $10,000 annually.
