Student Loans as Income

Am I allowed to put my student loans as income? I am a 20-year-old dependent, being claimed by my mom. Since scholarships and tuition paid are nearly the same on my 1098-T,  she is not getting the American Opportunity Tax Credit. If I were to put in $4000 of the student loans I took out as income, so then it is taxable, would she be able to claim that $4000 as college expenses for me?

Loans of any type are never entered as income.  Only the interest paid on the student loan can be entered on your tax return.

Form 1098-T is entered as education expenses.
