switching different education credit

Can someone tell me how I can switch the different education credits in the PC version of TurboTax? There was a posting that said type in "letme" and click on Jump To. But that didn't bring me to the education deduction screen for me to select the different credits/deductions.

How can I switch?

TurboTax will guide you regarding the Education Credits and which would be best for your filing.

You would enter the 1098-T information under the Federal section of the TurboTax program.

Select "Deductions & Credits"
Select "Expenses & Scholarships (1098-T)"
Click start
Follow the screen to enter the applicable information

Type letme (no space between let & me) in the search box. When the dropdown list appears, click on letme rather than "jump to letme'. On the next drop down, click on the "jump to letme” link.

TT should give you the option to select another tuition credit or deduction.

When I type letme in the search box and then select letme, it does not bring up the menu to choose to do a deduction. I cant take the whoel credit this year and would like to see if these other options are better

In order for the letme to work (I think), you must have gone thru the entire education interview, including the maximize screen.

When you click on the "jump to letme” link, you get a screen "Education Credits and Deduction" / Do you want to change the education calculations? Answer yes.
