Tax on scholarships

I believe I overpaid on my taxes the past 2 years, what can I do? 

I received more scholarships than my tuition was, so I paid taxes on the difference, however I think I overpaid due to a filing error on my behalf, am I able to go back and check on this?

    If you believe that you made a filing error and overpaid taxes, you can amend your past tax returns to claim the taxes unduly paid.
