Question

Tax return withheld for student loan garnishment, will it be handed to Turbotax to hand to me?

I filed my taxes this year through Turbotax like usual. The refund was then withheld for student loan garnishments but that is being released / refunded according to the US Department of Education.

Is that going to be handed over to Intuit to distribute back to those of us who this happened to?

If the refund was released, you would receive a check for the amount of the refund.
