The 1098T section shows as I am the student. I'm the parent paying for college, not the student. How do I change that on the forms?

Is your son a dependent on your tax return? The educational credit interview should ask who on yiur tax return was the student.

A 1098-T is always shows the students name and there is nothing on a 1098-T that indicates who actually paid the tuition - it only gives the amount of tuition received.

So please clarify your question.
