The system keeps asking me to put information on a 1098 T worksheet and I don't have any 1098 T's. on the same worksheet, it's asking me for an employer's ID (??).

Delete the 1098-T Tuition form and related worksheets:

• In TurboTax Online, click here.
• In TurboTax CD\Download software, click here. 

Why are you in the "educational expenses and scholarships" section?

If by mistake, delete the student. 

Go through the entire education interview until you reach a screen titled "Your Education Expenses Summary".  Click delete next to the student's name (you cannot change  it and you cannot save your entered info). 

If  you need to enter the student's educational info, to claim an education credit, or report scholarship income;  After you confirm your student deletion, the next screen will allow you to add a student. After answering no to having a 1098-T, answer yes to qualifying for an exception (that gets you to the entry screens).
