TTax form 1098 interest allocation
TTax form 1098 has the check box for Mortgage Use line 1a for Rental Activity. It only allows it to link to one Sched E where it places all of the interest on line 12a. My interest is split between two Shed E rental forms. I was able to get the correct numbers by doing an over ride on Sched E worksheet line 12a. Is there a proper way to divide it sort of like the Supporting Details form that can be used.
