Turbo tax is wanting me to review a 1098 that I don't have, maybe pulled over from last years returns. It will not let me delete the unneed 1098, its a never ending loop
To delete Form 1098 in the TurboTax online version, here are the steps:
In TurboTax online,
Sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off
Select Tax Tools, click on the drop down arrow
Select Tools
Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form
Select Deletenext to Form 1098 and Continue with My Return
You will receive mortgage interest / points and property taxes paid amount on Form 1098. For tax years prior to 2018, your mortgage interest deduction is generally limited if all mortgages used to buy, construct, or improve your first home (and second home if applicable) total more than $1 million ($500,000 if you use married filing separately status).
