Turbo tax says I don't qualify for American opportunity tuition credit because I did not enter Filers employer identification number, and i did enter it

Check the 1098-T information you entered into TurboTax on the 1098-T entry screen.

The box for "Filer's federal ID no." should match the "Filer's employer identification no." on your actual Form 1098-T.

If for some reason you can't get to the summary screen where you can make your changes, but instead find yourself somewhere "in the middle" of the Education interview, then Continue through the Education interview questions until the end and you should see the summary screen there where you can make your edits.
