Question

Turbotax free says I must upgrade to Turbotax Deluxex because of a Lifetime Learning credit, but I did not get a Lifetime learning credit. How do I continue?

If you paid education expenses, you may be eligible for the Lifetime Learning Credit. 

The amount of the credit is based on the amount of expenses. 

You can upgrade to see what the credit is worth, if you don't want to take the credit, don't enter your 1098-T. 

The amount of the credit will be listed on Schedule 3 line 3.
