Question

Turbotax is showing that I am receiving the Lifetime Learning Credit, can I still get it after graduation? I have graduated in May, so just want to make sure.

I don't know if Turbotax thinks that I am still going to school, I went to school in the Spring of 2019, then graduated, and I am done with school, not a student anymore. So just want to make sure I am not receiving a credit I shouldn't be.

The requirements for the Lifetime Learning Credit are different, so you may be entitled to this credit since you did have tuition costs at the beginning of 2019.

If you meet all of the requirements in the attached link, you can take advantage of this credit in 2019.
