Question

We moved out of my daughters school district but we wanted to keep her enrolled in the same school. So we made a tuition transfer. Can I claim this? We live in IN.

No, not if it is a public school.

According to the state of Indiana:

“You may be eligible for a deduction based on education expenditures paid for each dependent child who is enrolled in a private school or is homeschooled.”
