Form 1098 reports mortgage interest you paid. It also has other information such as mortgage insurance paid, points paid at closing, mortgage origination date, etc.
There is also Form 1098-E which reports student loan interest paid, and form 1098-T, Tuition Statement, which is used to help figure education credits (and potentially, the tuition and fees deduction) for qualified tuition and related expenses paid during the tax year.
