Question

When I try to enter all the tuition I paid for my son to attend college this year, TurboTax thinks I'm entering information for me. How do I make it work?

Make sure your son is claimed as a dependent on your return and you answered all the question related to him correctly. Confirm that you answered Yes to the question If he lived with you the whole year even if he was away for school.

Then on the screen Your Education Expenses Summary Select Add a student and continue,

you should see your son's name listed under "Let's get your 1098-T Information".
