When is the Tuition and Fees Deduction, extended for 2017 by The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 on Feb 9, 2018, going to be available in TurboTax?

I don't qualify for the American Opportunity Credit or the Lifetime Learning Credit, but could have gotten a $2000 deduction. However, it doesn't look like TurboTax with latest updates knows about it yet.

Until the IRS puts out regs and specs and the TT program can adjust and be tested and approved it will not happen ... estimates are a month or more. You can either wait for the change to file putting yourself on extension if needed OR file now and amend later (amendments must be mailed in and they take 16 weeks or more to process).
