I deducted them as business expenses

Enter as "other expenses" in the business expenses section. This will allow you to provide a description, such as: business related education. It goes in part V of Schedule C, then to line 27a.

If the courses were taken an an eligible institution, you may be better off using the first (up to) $10,000 to claim an education credit (the lifetime learning credit).
