Generally student grants are not taxable, unless the funds are used for unapproved purposes.

In TurboTax (TT), enter at:

Federal Taxes Tab (Personal for H&B version)

Deductions & Credits  (not income)

-Scroll down to:

--Education

  --Education Expenses

After entering you 1098-T, the interview will include a place to enter additional scholarships not shown on the 1098-T.
