To report payments toward tuition with or without a 1098-T, follow these steps. Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal. Across the top of the screen, click on Deductions & Credits. Under Your tax breaks, scroll down to Expenses and Scholarships. Click on Edit/Add to the right of Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T). At the screen Your education expenses summary, click Add a student.
