I'm filling out the dependent information and there is no place to designate my child as a full time student

If the child is age 19 or older, when entering their information in the My Info section of the online program, you will land on a screen Less common situations for (Name of Child) check the box labeled Was a full-time student in 2024 and Continue.

You will not get that question if the child's birthdate indicates he is under 19.  It is not relevant for dependency.

Later, in the educational expenses section, you will be asked for his student status

As you walk through the questions when you enter your child, there are multiple questions, one of the questions is are they a full time student.  This question will only be asked if they are over 18 years old.  So if they are older than 18 and you are not being asked that question, you will need to double check their birthdate.
