My daughter is currently in college and it is stating she needs to file a tax return to include taxable income.  Can you please provide me with steps as how and where to input the information?

She needs to set up an account for herself in TurboTax, like you did, and prepare her tax return.

After your get the account set up, enter her form 1098-T information in the "Education" section of TurboTax, under "Deductions and Credits". Look for "Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T)."

If she has any other income, such as wages reported on a form W-2, enter that as well.

When you are finished, if there is no tax due you probably don't need to file the tax return, unless there is some reason she is required to besides the income from the form 1098-T. So, if all she has is the form 1098-T and there is no tax due, then she doesn't have to file the tax return.
