Question

While filing my taxes, it says that I am not eligible to file for free because I received the Lifetime Learning Credit, but I didn't, how do I change that information?

In the summary go my education deductions and credits, it says I didn't qualify for the lifetime learning credit, and yet, when I go to file, it says that I need to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe because of that credit. How do I undo this?

If you don't qualify for the Lifetime Learning Credit,  or want to eliminate it, you'll have to delete the forms that are related to education credits.

 If you see form 8863 and form 1098-T, delete them. Click here for instructions
