Question

Why am I being directed to "Upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe" with the reason being "You have the Lifetime Learning credit" when I do not qualify for that credit?

Under the File section, I get a screen asking me to upgrade because I have the lifelong learning credit, however under the Deductions & credits section I am told I do not qualify for the lifelong learning credit.

Delete any 1098-T you entered - also delete Form 8863.   Then, go through the FILE screens again.
