Double-check your income entries and make sure they are accurate. Next, preview you 1040 and verify that your Modified Adjusted Income is below the phase-out

To preview your 1040 use the menu on the left of TurboTax Online.

  1. Select Tax Tools
  2. On the drop-down select Tools
  3. On the pop-up menu
  4. Select View Tax Summary
  5. On the left sidebar, select Preview my 1040

If you are eligible, you have answered  something wrong, in the interview. But, a lot of people are just not eligible.
