Why is it asking for a school district if I put I have no children and me not my wife went to school?

Whether you have children in school or not, if you live in an area with a school district tax, you are required to pay the tax.   You have not mentioned where you live.

Even if you don't live in a school district with an income tax,  entering your school district name and/or number is required on several state income tax forms. 

In my state, it's a statistical thing used to allocate state revenue.
