To enter student loan interest paid -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Education
On Student Loan Interest Paid (Form 1098-E), click the start or update button

Have you gone through the screens where you select Type it in myself?  What is the TurboTax program doing to prevent you from entering the interest payment?

The most likely reason that would happed would be if your income was over $95,000 for a single person or $195,000 for a married person filing jointly in 2024. You can't take the deduction if your income is over those amounts.

If you are, or can be, claimed as a dependent, you are not allowed the student loan interest deduction.
