Will I get a tax credit for my daughter since I paid 41,000 in tuition for her senior year in college?

Did you claim her as a dependent on your tax return?  In order to get an education credit you have to claim the student as a dependent.

It depends on a number of other factors.

First, it depends on your income. The income limit for the American Opportunity Credit is $90,000 for filing single or head of household and $180,000 for filing jointly.

Otherwise, Champ xmasbaby0 has provided the other parameters.
