Can turbotax be used to refile a 2023 federal tax return

I used Turbotax in 2024 to file my 2023 federal tax return. Can I use Turbotax again to refile my 2023 federal tax return (As I need to make adjustments that will effect what i owe/refund with CRA).

Since tax laws and regulations change annually and the software has new forms each year to comply with CRA requirements, you cannot use your 2023 tax software to file your 2024 return. Please make sure your 2024 return has been filed.

You can make changes to a filed tax return by filing a T1-adjustment. The CRA requires that you wait until you’ve received your Notice of Assessment (NOA) before filing an adjustment. In many cases, the CRA will catch the mismatch and automatically adjust your return for you.
