Question

I would like to file my return, but my spouse's is not complete. Can I file mine now and her's later?

    Yes, you can file your returns on different dates. If you prepared your returns together, you'll want to be sure not to modify any of the amounts that were shared between you in the return you choose not to file right away as it might result in a reassessment of both your returns. Make sure to record your Netfile confirmation number.
