Question

which address should I put in the contact information section?

I moved to a different address this year. so should I put the old address (2023) or new address (2024) in the contact information section? 

and when it asked "did you change your address this year?", is it asking 2023 or 2024? 

it's kind of confusing

You would put your new address if that is where you receive your mail. Contact the CRA at 1 (800) 959-8281 to give them your change of address so that your return won't be delayed.  The question- "did you move this year"- is for 2023.
