How do I show the 2017 sale and replacement of one rental property with 2 properties of greater value in turbo tax premier?

    Did you ever figure out how to do the 8824 in the situation of selling a rental property and then buying 2 because of the buy up requirement?  Do you just cut your selling side numbers in half and allocate that way?
