1031 Exchange - one relinquished property for two replacement properties

Hello,

I recently completed a 1031 Exchange where I relinquished one rental property and then bought two replacement properties. Can I place the two replacement properties on one form 8824 in Turbo Tax when I do my 2023 taxes? And what Turbo Tax product is recommended for this?

TurboTax is not set up to do that. You might be able to combine the two replacement properties into one entry. If you do that keep careful records of what you did.

Unless you know exactly what you are doing you should probably use a local paid tax pro for the 2023 return or upgrade to the turbo tax full service option if using the online program. If you want to use the TT program on your own then you will need to use the downloaded version and make the required direct entries in the FORMS mode yourself. Doing so will void the accuracy guarantee and may keep you from efiling the return.
